i've been thinking

this crossed my mind that time when i was in the college library, looking for a friend, only to be hung up by another which needed a face to draw. he asked me to sit for a while and look in one direction. i chose of course the one facing a wall, and man, it was dull. there was nothing to look at besides sour looking librarians (srsly man smile jeez hahah going off topic). that wall had limitless potential to be a place of expression and creativity, but it's just blank! i mean, i thought i was in an art school!

maybe it's just me, but i always had this perception in my mind that an art school was filled with ART. not art HUNG on a wall, but DRAWN on the walls. and not only was it a perception, it was a dream; to draw on the walls on something. like a huge canvas. and to think that i wont have to do it alone, and there are actually other artists who can do it, more than capable, and high chance better than myself, it makes me feel this dream can finally be achieved.

all those paintings and ads on the walls are good stuff, but they are old stuff. they should let the old, gold people pass, let the new generation come in and show the people outside something new, something the present people have done, something the past didnt do. art bags, shirts, this cant contain our potential. hang that Yao Ming photo in the gallery, bro! i want a wall, and i want one now.

if not the whole school, then a part of it. as interior design, as a way to express ourselves. we are an art school, damn it. i want color on the walls, expression at every side, from every angle. i want intergration throughout the classes and different semesters and cultures. every class of every semester of every year, everyone, painting the college with positive expression. no dissing and cussing, just a whole lot of creativity everywhere! that's what an art school should look like, and if i have the chance, i will never let it slip by. i'll take on the whole campus of not a wall, even if i have to take on it alone.

still thinking of all the formalities, but every part of me tells me "screw the formalities.". soon, i will ask for the whole college grounds and nothing less.

don't know how, don't know when, don't know much, but i'm going to turn this campus into more than just a clean wall.
