okay okay. keypoints:
- i don't know how and why Aidee convinced me to get Fanatic zone with them, even the name's lame. but i'm glad we got it, we walked in like a boss with people yelling, asking to get in, while we strutted our stuff thru. hahahaha. and it wasnt even so close, just how i loved it. :D
- didnt buy the shirt, I HAD MY OWN! :B
i should have auctioned it. would have gotten da dolla bills. but oh well. it's mine anyway.
- they openned with Houdini. it was beyond awesome. like when MGMT openned with Flash Delirium. awesome.
- met a small boy there, 11-12 tops, on his brother(?)'s shoulders. was singing along to Waste with me. that kid is going places for sure. he left during Don't Stop tho. T.T
- Don't Stop was probably the best song they played. jump inducing song i tell you. epic. truly epic.
- when they played Warrant, i was singing and jumping alone. D: oh well. one man party's still a party.
- bukit kepong action all over again man. met the EXACT same Kangaroos there. but nothing much bout them, there was this other lady who didnt know what encore means, AND she told me to stop dancing, i told her no. but that's about as brutal as it got.
- Pumped Up Kicks was last, as predicted. didnt even give it much thought, was alrd done when we got there.
- there was this one Malay man who stood beside me, and he just kept bobbing to the beat. and we kept hitting into each other cause i was dancing, and we just looked at each other, traded "sorry" smiles, and continued dancing! LOVED HIM.
- Helena Beat was awesome.
- Malaysia surprised me. they knew most songs. cept maybe Warrant and Life On The Nickel. they even sang to Miss You! i am so proud of us. T.T
- it ended really early! 10:30 or something. i guess cause it was a U rated concert, but still! so early. but hey, saturday classes. i'll be attending you. hahaha.
- they covered Weezer's Say It Ain't So. a little too normal for them, honestly.
- everything else, was of course, pitch perfect. very good performance, even their off-track song which i thought would be Chin Music. very very very good.
all in all, a night to truly remember. very glad there werent any smokes and beer during the show, the rowdiness outside during MGMT was stupid. i'm keeping this ticket and showing it to my kids next time, telling them "your dad was a badass, and Foster The People were the shit back in the days!" going down in history, indeed. :D
Fin~
